I'm curious about a quote that was attributed to you regarding the safety
testing of geneticaly engineered food.
Ms. Jane Henney, the head of the FDA told me in person that the FDA had done
no testing. They have a "GRAS" policy. This does not involve testing of any
kind - it's a consultation procedure. After consultation with developer
corporations the GRAS label is given and the organisms are released.
Please send me the documentation you describe regarding safety-testing on
human health and the environment regarding genetically engineered food. I'd
love to find out more about it. I look forward to hearing from you as soon
as possible.
