PLEASE NOTE: Worldwatch biotech press brief

Howdy, all--

I call your attention to the press brief I shipped out around noon today,
regarding the Worldwatch Institute's press brief, "Portrait of an Industry
in Trouble."

PLEASE NOTE that this is an embargoed release to be held till noon,
Thursday, 17 February. It is not to be cited, quoted, or used in
publications of any sort till that time. This is a courtesy that
journalists extend to each other, to help both the movement/flow of
information and the timing of its release.

Worldwatch's press director, Mary Caron, is aware that SANETters are seeing
this information today. She joins me in asking for your support for the
embargo till noon Thursday.

Thanks, all, for your support in this. I had queued this message with the
embargoed send-time on it, figuring that a number of folks in our community
would be interested, and that I'd forget to pass it along if I waited. For
some reason Eudora (my e-mail client) shipped it today, even though it was
tagged to not go till Thursday. It's wonderful how computers can automate
and make all aspects of our lives more efficient--including the mistakes. :^F

peace
misha
