SANET Colleagues -- I sent a message around late last night asking for
comments on my draft AAAS paper on biotech. I mistakenly ended up sending
the message to all of SANET, which was not my intention. I will gladly
share the paper when it is final; the purpose of sending it around to
several colleagues was good old peer review.
So, we have changed the url; the one given will not reach the paper. For
those of you on SANET who were right on the case this morning and have
already downloaded the paper -- about 30 -- congrats. You are hereby
invited to join in the electronic peer review of the paper. Please send
your comments directly to me as requested, NOT to the whole list.
The final draft will be posted Friday afternoon or early evening. The
html version on the site will be electronically enhanced with live links to
the full text of about 1/5 of the references, and to abstracts on about
2/3. It will be an easy way to gain familiarity with new science on
potential GMO risks and benefits.
