The Director of the Sugar Beet Seed Institute of Iran would like to
investigate the possible production and adaptation of Stevia
rebaudiana in different regions of the country. He seeks agricultural
and chemical information as well as seeds/seedlings of stevia for use
by Iranian researchers. He also wishes to know about the diverse
varieties suitable for Iranian conditions.
If anyone is familiar with this crop and its suitability to Iranian
conditions, please share your information with me (ancha@vtt.co.jp) so
that I can compile all responses and send them to the concerned staff
