RE: Kosher Approaches to Sustainable Agriculture

Saneteers,

My humble apologies for bringing religion into the world of Sanet!

I am not Jewish and I don't even affiliate with a religion. Spiritual,
somewhat. Of an ordained religion. No.

My intent in posting "Kosher Approaches" was to present the views of how
GMO's, GE, etc. are affecting the world population. If ag is to sustain
and be fair to the customers of the world, we need to respect moral
obligations and cultural or religious differences. As mom would always
say, "Go the conservative route and you will satisfy all." She was not
talking politics here and I'm sure she was not talking profits over
ethics either.

Because growing up I was exposed to many rites, cultures, ethics and so
on, I feel I can post without "pushing" a religious view. I am more an
informational or desire for informed consent type of person. The
personal responses I received (some posted) indicate 2 to 1 that moral
ethics and acceptance of other religion override being posted vs being
excluded from post.

Again, I was not pushing the Kosher view, merely informing all who farm
how the Jews might consider their buying preferences.
