Listened to NPR this morning and heard of a new pharaceutical designed to
tie up the toxin from E Coli 0157. They mentioned there were something
like 250-275 deaths per year from this bacteria strain. Reminds me of the
work on using the clay binder in animal feed to tieup the aflatoxin in
damaged grain used in the formulation.
A few days back, I thought I heard something about Frito-Lay corn chips.
Were they going to be going GM free? and if so anybody know when the
contamination will be out of their pipeline? Mike Miller
