two simple solutions:
against the cookies (with the system command attrib):
ATTRIB cookie.txt +r
(even javascript can't change that)
and against the advertisements on the pages:
look for a tool called "webwasher" (it's FREE - and not only that,
it's also GOOD!, and wonders over wonders: it's been programmed by
some programmers from the german multinational corporation SIEMENS
;-)). install it and you will no more be bothered by any
advertisement gif's and jpg's. smart side-effect: it reduces
download times and saves disk space ;-))
but: be also aware, that a lot of sites just exist BECAUSE they can
place ads on their homepages. why do you think, can yahoo give you
a FREE email account ? or why can you have free access to
the huge medscape database ? where do they pay their diskspace
and webpage designers from ? certainly not from your FREE
account...
