Position Announcement

PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR

The Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF) is working to build
a movement of rural and urban communities to foster family-scale
agriculture that cares for the land, sustains local economies and
promotes social justice. CAFF's programs combine education and
advocacy to promote biological farming, protect farmland and water
resources and increase the economic viability of family farming.

CAFF seeks a highly motivated individual with strong computer skills
and administrative experience to provide support for education and
advocacy programs. This is a full-time position based in Davis,
California.

Job responsibilities include managing databases, tracking
budgets/contracts, developing and implementing record-keeping
systems, producing newsletters and reports and supervising
administrative assistant.

Qualifications: Experience working with relational databases
required. Familiarity with Filemaker Pro, Excel and Pagemaker
desired. Detail-oriented problem solver with excellent communication,
administrative and organizational skills.

Starting salary range is $23-27,000. CAFF provides a benefits package
that includes three weeks of paid vacation per year, personal leave,
holidays, a benefit stipend and flexible scheduling. CAFF is
