I sometimes wish Chuck *were* more inflammatory, passionate,
aggressive etc. However, I know he is *right* in being as cautious,
reserved, measured, reflective, consistent, congruent and disciplined
as he always is whenever making a remark in public - but that can only
be expected from an ex-head of the Board on Agriculture of the
National Research Council, and I certainly can't question either the
depth of his commitment or the the scope of his knowledge.

The one who flies off the handle and makes remarks not sustained in
fact is Dale. Chuck is probably the best example you'll get of what
you need to do be taken more seriously. (This is not to say that you
don't occasionally contribute something of value).
