We have seen 5 new "state" quarters this year and we will continue do to
so for 9 more years ie. 50 states. Assuming we don't annex PR in this
decade.
My thought is this, many people will hoard/stash away these coins as
commeratives (myself included) but this takes money out of circulation.
Was this a plot to remove money from circulation? To change the debt
load? Or as a temporary measure or to divert us away from Y2K thoughts?
I am probably way off base here but your thoughts are
welcomed.
