Tomorrow at Claymont Court, outside of Charles Town, WV, he will speak on
"Organic Heirloom Flower Gardening," a topic he has written one book and
several articles on. This will include a different set of slides than what
he showed last night.
He has also promised to devote as much additional time as possible on
Saturday to discussing the ethical and economic ramification of genetically
engineered seeds from the perspective of a seed company owner. Genetic
engineering is a topic he has been researching for a forthcoming book. He
has promised to present an examination of GE Bt from a 'fair use'
perspective, and what it means to the organic farmers.
Shep speaks at 1PM tomorrow in the Ballroom of the Historic Claymont
Mansion. For more information, contact Allan Balliett (304) 724-6763 email:

The event is free to the public. Reservations are strongly encouraged.
