I've stayed out of this because it has been a while since I looked at the
rotenone tox stuff and I do not have it on hand. The issues have mostly
been stated and what it comes down to is that it is a non-specific
biocide, should be very carefully used around bodies of water, is highly
toxic but breaks down very fast. My opinion is that the notification issue
would be moot because any residue would be long gone by the time of
harvest or consumption. If the discussion continues I will try to dig up
the tox stuff.
