GMOs in the Media

Richard Harris, NPR radio, reported this morning on the GMO debate. One
issue which was left hanging was the assertion that organic corn is more
susceptible to passing on (to humans) a potentially-harmful fungus (spread
by a worm?) which would otherwise be killed by the GMO trait.

Can anyone recommend a respected scientist or organization which could
address this specific issue? I would like to follow-up with NPR, but need a
reliable and reputable information source.

Thanks,

Michael
