Very refreshing to see a reality based awards program for farmers and
companies that are making realistic strides toward significant chemical use
reduction or even elimination without sacrificing the ability to produce
the quantities and quality needed by the consuming public. Their
approaches, while not all considered acceptable to the SAR purists, are
successfully working towards the goals of a safe, nutritious, plentiful,
and economical food and fiber supply. Kudos.
