I am a grad student in Rural Planning and Development, at the U of Guelph,
Ontario.
I am developing a program (a strategic plan) for two rural
townships to:
a) conserve water and energy consumption, and reduce waste
b) encourage "green business" ventures.

Q1? Does any one know of any conferences/networks dealing with environmental
sustainability issues from a rural perspective?

Q2? In the USA there is a "Home Assist" program. If anyone
has information about this, again with a rural focus I would appreciate
a message.
