Contact with UN environmental programs needed

On another but related topic, I found an interesting article by Richard
Levins in "Agriculture and Human Values" (Sept. '93 issue). One point he
discussed was how Cuba and the Soviet Union differed in programatic
policies affecting the environment. This issue of the journal was devoted
to Cuba, which seems to have many lessons for us with respect to
sustainable agriculture. Has anyone reviewed this issue? If so, any
comments?
