The public information office of Western Region SARE (Sustainable
Agriculture Research and Education) is working to expand its mailing lists
for the agricultural and environmental trade press, including publications
specifically targeted to farmers. I thought SANet would be a great group
to ask for help.

I am interested in names (and hopefully addresses or least the city where
the publication is based) of newsletters and publications covering on-farm
issues, and general science, agricultural and environmental topics in the
Western region. I am especially interested in magazines, newsletters and
journals that you consider most helpful or are the most widely read among
professionals, farmers and environmental groups. As examples, publications
like Sierra for the Sierra Club would fit the kind of publication
information that I am looking for, as would the Sustainable Agriculture
Quarterly, based at AERO, or the California-Arizona Farm Press. I would
love to hear from people outside of California, in particular.
