Organic Farming Economics - Ques?

I am looking for information on organic farming economics as it relates
to pest management applications. I am also interested in comparisons of
farm economics for certified organic growers and conventional growers.

My interest is to understand the economics of converting from
conventional farming to organic farming. How much more does this
transition period cost and how long does it last?

I will edit and post valuable information on sanet for anyone else who
may be interested.
