I am doing a research on quantifying some environmental and social
costs of conventional agriculture (as opposed to organic
production). I am mainly looking at soil degradation, water
pollution and health impacts. These costs will be used in the
context of a cost-benefit analysis.
Could any one help me in finding researchers, departments and other
contacts in the World Bank, USDA and NGO who are doing/have done
similar work (mainly in Washington D.C. region).
I will be visiting Washington D.C. in mid April and will be glad to
meet with other researchers.
