The Regional Farm & Food Project in Albany, NY is offering a
farmer-to-farmer consulting program, beginning in early 2000. This
program, which runs approximately 8 months within the Hudson-Mohawk
region of Eastern New York, western Massachusetts and southern Vermont,
pairs accomplished farmers with farmers who are looking for guidance
and/or support with their operation.

This whole-farm oriented program emphasizes enterprise development.
Farmer consultants will mentor and assist their partners in all aspects
of farm assessment in hopes of optimizing sustainability, profits and
quality of life on the farm.

Farmers actively involved in vegetable, livestock, dairy, and related
types of production are welcome to apply.

For more information or to register, please contact Ariel McCarthy at
