There was no firm allegation made and I am NOT doing research on the
subject, nor do I plan to. An obvious confusion is occurring and both
topics and motives are being scrambled indiscriminately. It's important
here to not forget where each participant was coming from and going,
and I will speak for MYSELF. We will go back to the beginning.
The topic was: Time and the Benefit of BT Corn. There are 6 messeges
in this mailbox of mine that contain the words "breast fed": Yours,
two of Alex McGregor's and four of of mine, the first was sent by me
on Oct 29.
In that post, I asked Alex whether or not he had been breast fed and I
did so for the reason later stated: In order to determine whether or
not a correlation MIGHT exist between his apparent feeling that
agriculture was an unnatural act for human beings and having been
breast fed or not breast fed, based both on past personal observations
and the nature of the issue: Evidently *I* am more comfortable than
Alex is with agriculture's role in human destiny, in spite of the
all too frequent misuse of it.
There was no offense meant or made by my having asked the question and
that is the only issue of importance here. Since Alex interpreted my
question in a defensive way, I therefore explained my reason for
having asked it (which you may or may not adhere to, Dr., and I would
certainly not insist that you do).

No, what Douglas wants is simply to remain true to the issues
pertinent to this list. This type of interchange serves only to
degenerate the quality of the issues that ARE important and DO need to
be addressed here. So I will repeat once more what I want: Drop this
irrelevant issue or save it for private email (which I may or may not
answer).
DML> Douglas, please quote references for your allegation.
Once more. There was no allegation. There was an explanation for
having asked a question due to the motive for the question's having
been misunderstood.
DML> , 'cause I for one think that sounds like an old wives tale.
The old wife is someone else. I have explained my motives, more than
once now.
DML> On the other hand if it is true I'll include the question of
DML> breast or bottle fed in my next job interview
Very cute remark. But please save it (and others like it) for off list
discussion.

DML> Dr MJ Linington
This has degenerated into nothing more than a personal confrontation
and waste of time. It's an unimportant issue and straying far from
both the original topic and good sanet participation. The topic is not
a sanet topic and is inappropriate here, so let's NOT degenerate the
list further with this kind of thing.
