I've been trying to track down Greg Watson. He was involved with New
Alchemy Institute and later served as head of the state ag dept. for the
state of Massachusetts. While in that position, he spoke here
(Chattanooga) and referred to a study they did on the economic impact of
agriculture on the state's economy. It was the basis for his reforms
there and promotion of locally grown food.
What I need is how to reach him or how to find a copy of this study. A
group of us here have started an initiative to bring locally grown food
back to this area and preserve what's left of our farms. An economics
professor here has volunteered her classes to do studies as projects,
but she needs an idea of where to start and what the parameters are.
