Chemical for predator control

Sometime over the past couple of months I've read an article about a
chemical to mix with raw meat from livestock or poultry, and left for
predators to ingest. The chemical doesn't injure the predator but makes it
so sick they never want to eat that meat again. Supposedly the impact even
lasts to the next generation. I've misplaced this article and would like to
know if anyone else read it, where I can find a new copy, or at least find
the name of the chemical, which as I recall, can be purchased from
drugstores.

Thank you,
