Totally agreed.

Disagree here - it may be possible some places, but not here in
South
Central Kentucky. We just raised our process to $1.25/dozen at the
farmers' market and met a lot of resistance. We may raise to $1.50 next
year - but we'll lose customers. At $2.00/dozen or higher, we'd come
home with most of our eggs.

I agree, the product is far superior. We won't buy eggs any more. If
our
hens stop laying in the middle of the winter, we do without until
February
light levels start them again. But when the grocery stores run specials
of 39 cents a dozen, it's a hard sell for a lot of consumers.
