Seasonal production (allows breaks in disease cycles and equipment rest),
green grass (or preferebly clover with pigs), a good rotation of pastures
(ample rest periods between groups of pigs--ie pigs are part of a grass or
crop farms rotation.), and properly adjustable feeders will cure almost
every problem you mention.
