This list has nearly 800 members, ALL of whom have a right to use it, and a
responsibility not to abuse it. I do think it is in everybody's best
interest to keep our subject, Sustainable Agriculture, in mind. And, it is
appropriate to treat each other with respect, regardless of cultural or
philosophical differences. Flaming each other, on or off the list, is
counter-productive to our cause. We are all on the same side, to find and
promote a better way of agriculture that can sustain this generation while
leaving resources for the next. (this is my summary of a definition of
sustainable agriculture posted to this list by Dr. Ikerd some time back.)
