So its just illusion when one of my children comes out in hives with
commercial eggs and can eat them until they come out of his ears when they
are home produced?

The araucana price I am sure is because they look pretty. When I kept
Marans I used to be able to get really, really silly prices for their
beautiful dark brown eggs and people would fight over them whatever I
charged
