mining the 'net

This is kinda for Misha. But, it's a heads-up for us all.
Someone pointed me to a site www.bagelhole.com that has many
topics on self-sufficiency. I was surprised to find a Misha quote
about maggots (fairly long rant) but no credits to her name. I don't
know if folk are 'mining' for information on the various groups that
such topics are discussed, w/out our knowledge or crediting
ourselves.
I did write to the owners of the site and have received no reply yet.
Also, I moderate 2 lists on OneList, and am a member of 4 others.
I've yet to be spammed or confronted with outrageous advertising.
I'd be more concerned with people taking posts such as appear in
SANET and OGL archives and using them to pad their own
webpages, as it appears the bagelhole owners have done.
If someone wants to quote something I've said on a usegroup or list
digest, I certainly don't mind, but please ask me and (pretty
please), link back to my own site, I might want to sell you
something!
