heavy corn pollen(tell that to a bee)

needed for corn to maintain varietal purity."
Its been my observation that pollen is light(maybe its heavy in
relation to other pollens) , and be carried on the wind very
easily....now throw in some foraging bees and who can tell how far one
must isolate two differing strains...
