I am a Masters student in Canada exploring several thesis topics, one of
which is the concept of green support programs, under which farm income
support would be provided in return for farmers' provision of environmental
protection instead of traditional measures. Environmental measures might be
identified through the completion of "whole farm plans", with which I have
been working for the past several months in our province. I have reviewed
two excellent publications from the Henry A. Wallace Insitute, but have been
unable to locate much more on the subject. Though I am dealing with the
concept in a Canadian (and Nova Scotian context), and USDA or American
research would be invaluable to my work. Any ideas where to start in this
respect??
