Dear Ernie,
I appoligize for my insulting tone and for being rude. After sending it
the way I did, I wish I hadn't.
But when I have farmer after farmer tell me that you do not have to
fertilize so long as you are composting for 3-4 years, what am I to believe?
Someone from the institutions that have(for the most part) promoted chemical
farming from the start OR organice farmers that have 7-25 years of
experience to their name who listen to the soil and their crops for
direction? The results they reveal to me are always the same; soil test are
higher after several years of organic farming. Most of these use a good crop
rotation along with composting of cattle manure. I beg you to research this
and let us know.
Thanks,
Paul
