Dear Ernie,
I feel for your ignorance.

There is no other way to put it.

Where do I begin?
Do you know that when a plant grows it grows primarilly from the
atmosphere. Over 99. some percent.
* A scientist did a study growing some tree in some tub of soil for x amount
of time. (if you really need all the info I can get it but would rather not)
After that period of time elapsed, the tub of approximately 200 lbs of soil
weighed within a couple of ounces of the original weight. The tree I think
weighed approximately 85 lbs.

* Many, if not all organic farmers ( and I am talking totally organic
farmers here) have told me that they buy nothing off the farm other than
maybe some natural mineral supplemant for their cattle. ALL have told me to
this point without difference that their soil test have acctually went UP!
And I am not talking that many livestock. 30 head or so on 2-300 acres.

How do you explain the chick coming out of the egg with more calcium in its
bone structure than was in the egg to begin with?

I suggest you put your previous education aside and start over with the
mentallity of a child go talk to lots of farmers next and only then start to
ask questions. Be careful tho, there are those who would lead you astray.

Good Luck,
Paul

ps: as for all the other farmers, I have pity on them and this corprate
world we live in. How do you rationalize drinking coffee, drinking soda, or
eating anything processed much? IGNORANCE and ADICTION or HABIT.
