Key Allergenicity Report Posted

We have posted a major report on GMO foods and allergenicity on Ag BioTech
InfoNet entitled "Genetically Modified Foods and Allergenicity: Safety
Aspects and Consumer Information." It is a workshop report from a May
28-29, 1999 meeting organized by the Dutch Consumer and Biotechnology
Foundation, which is affiliated with Consumentenbond, the major Dutch
consumer organization. The meeting was sponsored by the EU Commission,
Unilever, and the Association of Dutch Infant and Dietetic Food Industry.

The report contains up to date and useful scientific reviews as well as
detailed information on Dutch efforts in the labelling and consumer
education arenas.
