fun with numbers: the carcass incineration equations

These numbers are from a local NC newspaper article, Jacksonville, NC.

Each incinerator can do 4000-6000 pounds of carcass per hour, providing
there is ample dry wood (big problem but irrelevant to the math unless one
wants to consider that throughput is zero without the wood.)

A hog (Illinois hog) weighs 250 pounds.

There are currently only two incinerators and a severe shortage of wood.

According to the paper there are 2.9 million poultry and 100,000 hogs.
According to the list member from NC it is 4 million poultry and 500,000
hogs (is that correct? I deleted the post.)

How many days will it take to burn all the carcasses?
