Additional Flood Effects--Animal deaths

So far 4 million poultry, 500,000 hogs in North Carolina. Still
counting. . . I also saw a news release about pets. Pets are not
allowed in shelters. They were being rescued by a group of people until
all boats were removed from the water because of environmental
contamination (hog lagoons, municipal treatment systems, poultry houses,
septic systems, all under water).
