To properly dispose of the collected johnsongrass seed, place in paper
bag, place paper bag on small mound of crumpled newspaper in a clear
area. Strike match to crumpled newspaper. Stand by with hose to douse
any escaping embers.

To ensure problem is not repeated next year, when johnsongrass leaves
appear, wipe with sponge soaked in abour 4% solution of Roundup. Wear
rubber gloves.
