This is mainly a survey piece which synthesizes the results from various
studies of "cropping systems trials". So you can find your way to the
original data sets and investigators if need be.
Also, in the results of the most recent National Organic Farmers Survey
from the Organic Farming Research Foundation, median yields and prices of
all organic crops are presented, as reported by the (1,200) responding
growers. For the 1997 crop year, 65 growers reported a range of yields
from 35 bu/ac to 145 bu/ac, with the median being 100 bu/ac. The Survey
results are available from OFRF at the numbers below.
