You should be able to find good research as well as practical
information on pasture pig farming from your local Extension Service
and/or Natural Resources Conservation Service. While both agencies
probably deal mostly with confined operations, both should also have
information pertaining to pasture management for a wide variety of
livestock. You can find them in the phone book - probably under county
govt. for Extension, and under U.S. Dept. of Ag. for NRCS. Good luck.
BUT, remember that successful pasture management has very little to do
with luck. It has to do with MANAGEMENT.
