Subject: Organic farming in the Czech Republic - placement

International work / training / study placements.

The Clark Mactavish Group are the UK's most active international trainer
for the land-based sector. Each year almost 200 people travel to European
destinations to undertake practical training and project work. For its
work in this area, Clark Mactavish were awarded the Department for
Education and Employment's (DfEE) UK National prize entitled 'Celebrating
Europe'.

Between now and March 2000, we have training opportunities in Hungary,
Slovakia, France, Ireland, Germany, Denmark, Iceland, Italy, Cyprus and the
Czech Republic.

We are URGENTLY seeking candidates to travel to an organic farm near
Litomysl in the Czech Republic for a six week training / work experience
programme, commencing 20th September 1999.

For this placement we are able to access EU funding from the Leonardo da
Vinci programme. The funding covers travel, accommodation, three meals per
day, insurance and training costs, it is feasible for candidates to attend
this programme with no personal funds at all (but not recommended because
they would miss social opportunities).

Candidates would do enjoyable practical tasks on the farm such as
harvesting, gathering fruit, ploughing, hedge laying, woodland work,
building renovation using traditional methods, etc. The group size we are
seeking is 6 persons. Candidates would fly to Prague and then travel by
train - there are opportunities (and funds) to do some extra-curricular
visits within the Czech Republic.

Interested candidates should telephone as soon as possible and ask for
Martin Clark on 016973-21516 or fax on 016973-23040 or E-Mail on
106774.357@compuserve.com.

PLEASE DO NOT DELAY - THIS PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITY IS VERY MUCH ON A 'FIRST
COME - FIRST SERVED' BASIS.

Martin Clark.
