Good morning, SANETers,

World Food Day is approaching and there are plans for a National Summit on
Community Food Security held October 14-15 in Chicago and at other sites
around the country. Community gardens, community supported agriculture,
sustainable agriculture, etc. are among the means that could cut American
hunger and food insecurity in half by the year 2015.

If you have had experience with community gardens or CSA , then what are the
points you would pass along to community groups considering whether or not to
get into these types of activities or arrangements? Can success be learned?

Thank you for sharing your experience.
