I have a couple of questions regarding mushroom production.
First, in regards to production in the United States, are there
alternatives to the addition of animal manure in the production of
Agaricus sp (white button mushrooms).
Second what is the possibility of utilizing mushrooms to increase food
security (either via subsistence or increased income) in less developed
countries? Are there organizations/individuals who have worked with
this concept in the past? Any contact information would be greatly
appreciated.
Thank you,
David Fazzino
