organic resources for consumers

Dear SANET members and readers,
I'm a writer who has written frequently about organics for consumer and trade
publications. I'm now working on a consumer guide to organic foods to be
published in spring 2000, and looking for items to include in a good resource
section. This is not a cookbook or gardening book, but a book intended to
help educate the mainstream (and otherwise) consumer about what 'organic'
really means and why it matters, from environmental reasons to family
farming.
The book will also include a good resource and bibliography section. If you
or your organization offer publications, periodicals, newsletters, guides,
farm tours, films, or any other resource that would be valuable TO CONSUMERS,
please let me know! This section will also suggest cookbooks and other
relevant books. If you have suggestions, you can reach me at
