Yup, it self-seeds like mad and will grow anywhere including in cracks in
the sidewalk.
It also loves to take over park land; however, there are many tree thieves
who will come into a park and take the trees away to resell them to
Japanese woodworkers who love the straight grained wood. I guess that's
good for the native woodies.
