year paid internship to the right individual. To qualify, you must have a
Master's Degree or be a Master's Candidate in Rural Development,
Agriculture Economics, Rural Sociology, Applied Economics, Natural
Resource Management/Planning, Community Development, Environmental
Studies, or equivalent, a strong interest in rural development in the
United States, a solid background in economics, and some previous work
experience, and be willing to commit to a two year position. The position
offers opportunities to develop skills in research, project management,
marketing, facilitation, and training; work on a diverse array of projects
on the cutting edge of rural development; develop a deeper understanding
of
rural communities, economies, and natural resource sectors; and be exposed
to new and emerging ideas in rural development. Potential for career
