Hello to all,
For feeding ruminants or chickens, why not bale up the grain, stem seed
heads and all...then let the animals sort through it. I have read that this has been done
with good results... I think i also read that putting the bales through a
hammer mill will significantly improve the digestibility of baled grains
for some types of livestock.
