You may have missed my earlier post to sanet. There seems to be some
confusion about the term "2,4-D". "2,4-D" almost always refers to
2,4-diphenoxyacetic acid, a widely used broadleaf herbicide that is
available in a number of formulations. 2,4-dinitrophenol, on the
other hand, is referred to by the full chemical name and does not
appear to have been registered in the United States for several years.
