There are no indigenous producers of the oil. Some collect seeds from
the
wild but sell them to the companies which produce the oil.

Subject: jojoba
Hello and thanks to those who responded to my post about jojoba &
patchouli
oil - I did check out Frontier Herbs and they don't have what am
looking
for which is this, specifically:
Does anyone know of a producer of jojoba oil? It is my understanding
that
the plant from which this is produced is native to desert regions of
North
America - so I am assuming traditional Hopi/Navajo/Pueblo territory.
Does
anyone know of Indigenous producers of this product?
Many thanks for your thoughts/advice/connections!
Beth Lischeron
