Mothers & Others for a Livable Planet, a nonprofit environmental and
consumer education organization, seeks full time membership coordinator in
New York.
Responsibilities: maintain all processing/tracking/reporting systems
related to member recruitment, fulfillment, renewals and special appeals;
assist with developing materials and carrying out schedules; oversee staff
data entry and retrieval; process/track member requests, including
answering mail, phone and e-mail requests; serve as liaison with direct
mail consultants and mailhouse.
Skills required: experience in membership development and database
management; self-motivated; a skilled writer; organized; detail-oriented;
computer literate (FoxPro and FileMaker Pro); able to work with and assist
others. Communication skills essential.
Salary: to mid-$30K, commensurate with experience.
