The study involved 800 people and was commissioned by
Murdock Magazines.
Eighty-eight percent of those responding were concerned
about the integrity of their food. Chemicals were the
major worry with 65% of those resonding indicating concern.
Forty percent were anxious about genetic engineering.
Nearly half said they were willing to pay more for food
raised by purely natural methods.
I wonder how the U.S. consumer would compare.
