I find it very difficult to believe that heating cooking oil causes cancer.
Let's see some hard data please, not some blanket statements about rancidity.

People have been heating cooking oil since the discovery of, well, fire and
cooking oil. But cancer rates have only dramatically increased in the last
century or so. Don't you think the vast explosion in industrial chemicals,
hormones, pollution and other man (and woman) made nasties have more to do
with cancer than sauteeing a few onions in some olive oil?
